1. Install Client on Windows
If you are logging in for the first time, download and install the Client first, as shown in the following figure:
Double-click the excecutive file among the downloaded files and wait for it to install automatically, as shown in the following figure:
If you are not logging in for the first time, use the Client to log in.
Tips:
The Web browser should be Internet Explorer 6.0 and later. Please update it to a higher version if the version is below 6.0
2. Install Client on Mac OS X
If you are logging in for the first time, download and install the Client first, as shown in the following figure:
EasyConnect will be saved to Download directory. After download completes, double-click it to start installation wizard.
Follow the wizard to install the control.
When the following appears, the control is installed successfully. Close the browser and log in again.
Tips:
Safari browser is supported only. Please log in with Safari browser.
3.Access to Remote Application on Mac OS X
User is redirected to the Resource page upon successful login.
Click a link to access the corresponding remote application, as shown in the following figure:
4. Install Client on Linux Platform

FAQ
Issue 1: For EasyConnect in Ubuntu system, the system tray has some menu items missing.
This appears to users logging in via web browser or the SSL VPN client EasyConnect. Missing menu items may be Resources, Personal Setup and so on.

Issue 2: Installation of SSL VPN client EasyConnect in Ubuntu system fails.
1. Double-click on the installation package of EasyConnect. It shows installation is successful but EasyConnect cannot be found by searching for application. In that situation, you may use command-line interface on the terminal to install it again.
If the above error appears, go to the download page to download the right package again. If the above error does not appear but another type of error occurs, go to Step 4.
Once installed successfully, EasyConnect can be searched.
2. Double-click on the installation package of EasyConnect. It shows installation is successful but EasyConnect cannot be launched by clicking on the shortcut icon. In that situation, you may use command-line interface on the terminal to launch it again.
If the above error appears, make sure the installation package is compatible with the system, x86 or x64. If the package is not the right one, go to the download page to download it again. If the above error does not appear but another type of error occurs, go to Step 4.
3. Double-click the installation package and then click the Install button as shown in the following screenshot. It may occur that the progress bar in red is static always or there is not response after the Install button is clicked.
In that situation, you may use command-line interface on the terminal to update the system.
sudo apt update sudo apt upgrade
4. If the above commands still cannot fix the issue, perform the following operations via CLI on the terminal:
a. Use the following command to check whether there are junk files after installation failure.
dpkg -l easyconnect
b. If there are no junk files, skip this step.
sudo dpkg -r easyconnect
c. Install EasyConnect via command-line interface.
sudo dpkg -i [name of installation package]
If the above steps do not work and EasyConnect still cannot be installed, contact network administrator.
Issue 3: SSL VPN client EasyConnect can be found in Ubuntu system and works properly, but it is not found in Software Center.
Ubuntu 16.04 earlier:
1. Open Software Source.
2. Check items as follow.
3. Open Unknown.
4. It can be found in Unknown. If cannot, restart the Software Center!
Ubuntu 16.04 or later:
It will be found after restart the Software Center!
If it still cannot be found, contact network administrator.
Issue 4: Installation of EasyConnect in Kylin system fails.
1. Double-click on the installation package of EasyConnect. It shows installation is successful but EasyConnect cannot be launched by clicking on the shortcut icon. In that situation, you may use Terminal to launch it.
The command is as follows:
If the above error appears, make sure the installation package is compatible with the system, x86 or x64. If the package is not the right one, go to the download page to download it again. If the above error does not appear but another type of error occurs, go to Step 3.
2. Double-click on the installation package. It shows that installation is successful but the following error appears when the program starts:
Try CLI and the following error also appears:
Then go to the download page to download the right package again. If the above error does not appear but another type of error occurs, go to Step 3.
3. If the above commands still cannot fix the issue, perform the following operations via Terminal:
a. Use the following command to check whether there are junk files after installation failure.
rpm -q easyconnect
b. If there are no junk files, skip this step.
sudo rpm -e easyconnect
c. Install EasyConnect via command-line interface.
sudo rpm -ivh [name of installation package]
If the above steps do not work and EasyConnect still cannot be installed, contact network administrator.
Issue 5: EasyConnect can be found in Kylin system via Start menu and work properly, but it is not found in software center.
You may check whether it exists in yumex Manager (on Kylin v7.0, as double-clicking rpm installation package is to install software via yumex).
To be able to find the installed EasyConnect in software center, you may choose a specific installer to install EasyConnect, as shown below:

Issue 6: Cannot access resource after Login EasyConnect in Mac
The reason of this problem is the firewall blocked all incoming connections. Check this option: Launchpad -> System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Firewall -> Firewall Options -> Block all incoming connections
Confirm this option is unchecked or Firewall is disabled. If the above steps do not work, contact network administrator.
